To responsibly shop wool, it is important to know that the animals have been treated correctly with no harm, that would otherwise derive from the mulesing practice. This is used to create smoother skin, but for the sheep is very dangerous

Closed ships their online shop orders in 100 per cent recyclable boxes, made from 100 per cent recycled materials. Their products are packed and shipped in polybags made of a material that degrades in 10–15 years (instead of 300 years). Made by the company Re.Ma.Plast, they contain the organic additive EcoPure for much faster biodegradation

Closed chooses their materials carefully to achieve the highest possible quality in order to create items that remain their customers’ favourites for years to come. Most of their materials are of natural origin, e.g. cotton or wool. In some cases, they also decide in favour of innovative synthetic alternatives like 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation, which is a vegan down alternative made of recycled fibres
